If you can master patience you can master everything.

1 patience

I no longer remember where I found this quote or whose it is but its truthfulness clearly stayed with me.

I used my own photo for this art journal page, of a lovely snail I found while walking after a rainy day last spring. I’ve been fascinated by snails and turtles ever since. Both because of their pace and because they seem to carry their ‘home’s with them and appear so much less vulnerable to me than us humans.

I wish I hadn’t rushed at the end and drawn a better circle. I also feel I could have done much better with the word layout, but overall I like it enough.

  1. I too have a great quote. It is this; ‘there is no best, only better’. This is saying, the ideal can never be achieved. However what can be achieved is continuing improvemt. Your picture is good enough. You achieve the level possible at that time. The idea is great advancement can be made simply by taking steps. Outside of this, be sure not everyone is able to make a picture at this standard. Regards. Chris T
