Heartsex

Through heartsex, the body opening to another, I feel the sky open at the centre of my heart, through my body and out beyond it.

Water

    I love water to wash with, to sink into in a hot bath and to swim out in when it's vast. Even if it's just in a glass,   why can't we be without? It dissolves our edges.

Cold

  Fingers have turned to steel inside leather gloves.     Dark trees have dropped their leaves and stand mute.     Your friend is blowing smoke as she speaks.

Food

  They say we need to eat to live. If they mean food for our bodies, relief from our hunger and a boost   of energy, then it's true. And if it's nourishment they mean, being with others, giving to people, doing what you love, acceptance, then that we live to eat is true.
